Project Description

The University Park water system currently delivers approximately 2.4 million gallons of water per day, which is pumped from the Big Hollow and Houserville well fields. While the current system meets the required standards, it is facing a number of challenges. Wm. T. Spaeder underwent a complete process piping project. With helping in the overall design, engineering, fabrication, and installation of a Wet Pipe System, Penn State is now not only meeting required standards but also includes operational demands and fire protection water storage standards.
