Sprinkler Fitter Foreman Erik Williams talks about retrofitting a fire protection system at Wayne Middle School in Erie, PA. The school was built in 1914 and is being renovated. From older building materials (brick and plaster) to lack of original drawings, there are many challenges with these types of retrofits. Erik even takes us underneath the building and shows us the fire protection build out literally from the underground up.
